Ian has enjoyed training since he’s teens. At first he didn’t think that he would ever do a bodybuilding show but as he got stronger and bigger people around him suggested that he should maybe think about competing. In off season Ian does not bulk up like some pro bodybuilders do, the best gains that he has made are when he eats fairly clean. Ian trains 5 times a week for maximum 60 minutes of intense training, he says that to get best results in building mass you should stick to your core exercises; benching, squatting, cardiovascular and repetitions. Ian’s daily pre-comp diet is chicken, rice, as much salad as you can eat, Udo's oil, Whey Protein and he drink’s 4 litres of water a day. Whilst on diet Ian uses whey protein, Bulgarian tribulus and ZMA complex. As for off season meal replacements and refuel and recovery drinks. For best result Ian says believe in yourself, have positive people around you and stay focused.
